Open trapezoid legs under a deep-charred top, brushed back so the texture stays where you can feel it.

Philosophy
Our Philosophy
Wabi-Sabi
Beauty doesn’t have to be perfect. Grain, knots, asymmetry and the marks left by fire aren’t flaws to hide. Here the imperfection is intentional, and it is what makes each piece its own.
Shaped by Fire
Fire is a design tool, not a finish. Burning changes the timber itself, raising the grain, deepening contrast and creating a texture you read with your hands.
Shibui
Simplicity without sterility. Restrained forms, quiet surfaces, nothing that needs to shout. The timber itself carries the room.
The Timber
Three Finishes
Every Blackfox piece is built in one of three finishes, or a combination of them. Same hand, same fire, different depth.
Hikari
Light and warm, with the grain lifted into heavy texture. The most open of the three: brightness kept, character added.
Gendai
A medium warm brown, textured and grounded. Enough char for depth, enough warmth to settle into a room.
Yakisugi
Deep charcoal black, burned hard until the surface cracks into a crocodile texture. The most dramatic of the three, and the most tactile.
They also combine. A Yakisugi base under a Gendai top lets a single piece carry more than one register at once.
