The Collection
Trapezoid Coffee Table
1000 × 600 × 350 mm. Open trapezoid legs under a deep-charred top, brushed back by hand so the texture stays where you can feel it.
Furniture
(01)
Gendai Lamp
Warm, low light held inside torched timber. The charred surface is what shapes the light it throws.

Gendai Coffee Table
1000 × 600 × 250 mm. Low, plank-built and set on solid legs, burned dark then brushed back to raise the grain.
Furniture
(03)
Charred Grain
Rings, knots and splits rise to the surface under heat, then get brushed rather than sanded flat.
Texture
(04)
Shaped by Hand
Cut, joined and brushed back in the studio. No flat-pack parts, no outsourced components.
Process
(05)
Fire, by Hand
The flame is moved by hand, so the depth of the char shifts across every board.

What We Make
Everything is built to order in one of the three finishes. The starting prices below are a guide, not a quote: size, timber and finish move them.
Coffee Tables
from NZ$700
Low, solid and built to be touched. 1000 × 600 mm as standard, in any of the three finishes, on solid or trapezoid legs.
Lamps
from NZ$350
Sculptural timber lighting. The charred surface isn’t decoration on the lamp, it is what shapes the light.
Wall Art
from NZ$150
Timber panels worked with fire and finished by hand. The easiest way to live with a Blackfox surface before committing to furniture.
Aquarium Cabinets
from NZ$1,000
Built around the tank by someone who keeps them. Aquascaping isn’t a sideline here, so cabinets are sized, braced and finished for the weight and the water, from standard footprints like the 90P to your own.
Custom Work
By enquiry
Plant frames, clocks, wall pieces and one-off furniture. The same design language, adapted to your room, not a blank brief.
Indicative starting prices in NZD, for pieces made to order in Auckland. The final price depends on size, timber and finish.
